Terms for using GarageEstateSales (garageestatesales.com), operated by Noemic. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Free to post

Posting a garage sale or estate sale is free. You need a free account to post; browsing needs no account.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing, including address, dates, times and items.
• You are responsible for the legality of your sale and for following local rules, including any permit, sign and hours requirements of your city or township.
• You must have the right to post any photos and text you submit.

Prohibited items and content

• Illegal, stolen or recalled items, and items you have no right to sell.
• Firearms, ammunition, explosives, illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, and other items restricted by law.
• Fraudulent, misleading, harassing, hateful or sexually explicit content, and spam.

Removal of listings

We may remove or edit any listing or suspend any account at any time, including for breaking these terms or local law.

Imported listings

Some listings come from public municipal sources. We try to keep them accurate but cannot guarantee it.

No warranty on items

We are a directory, not a party to any sale. We make no warranty about any item, seller or sale, and items bought at sales are bought as-is between buyer and seller. Use caution and judgment when attending sales.

Service provided as is

The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Noemic and GarageEstateSales are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from sales, items, listings or your use of the site. Our total liability is limited to $100.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, and disputes will be heard in the courts located in Michigan.
