Where to Post an Estate Sale

A local sale needs clear dates, accurate item photos and a location shoppers can find. Basic posting on GarageEstateSales is free forever.

A map-based sale directory
List the sale address, opening hours, dates and actual items. GarageEstateSales links each published sale to its city page and keeps ended pages available. You can edit your listing from your account; keep dates and availability current.
Community groups and neighborhood channels
Share your listing link where group rules allow sale announcements. Check each group's posting policy before sharing, avoid repeated messages and make sure the link shows the latest opening hours. Posting in a group is not a guarantee that every member sees it.
Local calendars and resident services
Ask whether your community calendar accepts sale listings. Municipal calendars and neighborhood associations may have their own eligibility rules. Never imply a city endorsement unless the city has actually approved your announcement.
Printed signs and flyers
Use legible directions and a QR link to the listing, where local sign rules permit. Check permit requirements, placement restrictions and allowed hours before putting signs on roads or public property.

What to include before sharing

  • Sale dates, daily opening hours and accurate location.
  • Clear photos of the items you are actually selling.
  • Useful categories, condition details and pickup arrangements.
  • Any accessibility or parking information you know to be accurate.

Enter your details first, then create an account with email and password or Google to publish. Browsing requires no account. Optional paid promotion is separate from free posting and is offered only when available; it never changes the organic order.
